The PICPA (Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants) Southern Tagalog Regional Convention was held last October 23, 2009, at Days Hotel, Tagaytay City. SSI was proud to have been part of the event, as it was a complete success as evidenced by the jam-packed function room.

The one-day convention started with an opening number from the De La Salle Dasmarinas Chorale, as they astounded everyone with their angelic hymns.

It was followed by a series of talks and open forums handled by the officers of PICPA and other guest speakers, presenting updates on current accounting standards. We were proud to have our very own, Leah Tenorio (Business Development Associate-Peachtree) as a guest speaker in the event. She presented the new features of Peachtree 2010 Accounting Software, and how it can help CPAs and businesses alike.
